Mould Designer (On-site, Chennai)
The Mould Designer will be responsible for designing and developing precision moulds for the manufacturing of medical devices. This role involves working closely with the production and R&D teams to ensure moulds are optimized for high-quality and efficient production. The candidate should have expertise in mould design software and a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop moulds for the production of medical devices.
- Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to ensure moulds meet quality and functional standards.
- Utilize CAD and CAM software for precise mould design.
- Optimize mould designs to improve production efficiency and minimize material waste.
- Troubleshoot and refine moulds during the production process.
- Work with toolmakers to ensure moulds are built according to specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mould design and development, preferably for medical devices.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of materials and injection moulding processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
